Faith & Work lecture @ ETS Annual Meeting
The Evangelical Theological Society is a professional academic society of biblical and theological scholars, pastors, and students. We serve Jesus Christ and his church by fostering conservative, biblical scholarship. We seek to accomplish this goal through our Annual Meeting, regional meetings, and publications such as our Journal. Our meetings are open to the public and our publications are available for purchase. Older volumes of the Journal are made available freely through our online archive.

Northern Ireland Ministry Assembly 2021
The aim of our assembly is to encourage and help preachers to give themselves to the indispensable work of presenting the Lord Jesus Christ to believers and unbelievers, to all ages, and to all kinds of people. We want to encourage a fresh commitment to expository preaching that will fill our churches with a hunger for God and his Word and lead to a new desire for mission.
We look forward to welcoming delegates from far and near. We firmly believe that when the Bible is opened and taught faithfully and relevantly the voice of God is heard in a living and powerful way. We, therefore, seek to encourage those engaged in preaching to see the expounding of Scripture as the pressing need in today's church and help equip them in the exacting work involved in such a ministry. While the assembly, therefore, is mainly for those in current full-time preaching ministries, others are welcome, especially students, interns, and spouses of Christian workers
We are looking forward to welcoming: Dan Doriani & David Gibson

WORK AND CALLING
Our culture is saturated with messages to “follow your passion.” We often expect and hope our work will help us find fulfillment and significance. Yet we sense that a spiritual calling can be more significant, often making us feel that “business” is second-class spiritually. This talk explores a more God-centered approach to our gifting.
B.B. Warfield Conference
Join us for the 2021 B.B. Warfield Lecture Series, The Heart of Romans: The Gospel and Its Consequences, featuring Covenant Theological Seminary professor Daniel Doriani. Paul’s letter to the church in Rome provides the longest and most complete expression of his theology. Since good theology leads to sound Christian living, Romans also has the deepest foundation for understanding and enjoying the Christian life. At this year’s conference, we will examine the way the theology of Romans 3-6 leads to a vibrant Christian life, recounted in Romans 5-9. Romans 5 describes our peace with God, liberty in prayer, confidence in trials, and assurance of God’s love. Romans 5-6 says we are united to Christ and because of that union, we are free from sin in principle and can expect actual growth as well. Because the gospel demonstrates that God is for us, with power, Romans 8 teaches that believers can live in confidence in every circumstance. Finally, since the message of salvation is valid for all people, Jew or Gentile, the gospel has the power to heal the rifts that trouble every human society, including our own. All are welcome to join us June 11-12, 2021 at our new location at Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, OK, for the rich study of God’s Word.
Work: The Meaning of Life
Dr. Doriani will be speaking at Central Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 28th from 7-9pm. Dan will talk about how we as humans were created to work, that it is in our work that we contribute to the redemption of the world.
The event is free and open to the public.
